Julie Roberts is known to many in the Perth design industry having been involved in commercial design for 25 years. Julie is an Accredited Designer and a Fellow of the Design Institute of Australia (DIA).

Julie was also President of the WA Chapter of the DIA and was responsible for the introduction of the WA DIA Design Awards launched in 2002. 

Having spent her early career in Perth, followed by time in London and Melbourne, the majority of her career was spent back in Perth at Blake Thornton-Smith Designers (now Geyer) where she became director. Due to her senior role, Julie managed projects from inception to completion, being involved in the design for many corporate interior design projects such as WMC Resources, Australia Post Headquarters, West Australian Newspapers, Sealcorp Holdings and Conoco Phillips to name a few. 

Her strengths lie in her ability to communicate at all levels between client, consultant and contractor ensuring that all parties are kept informed at all times.  Space planning is her other passion which is the fundamental building block of all interior design projects, particularly corporate and she prides herself on being able to provide excellent and efficient space planning solutions that meet all the clients needs.
