Private Residence, Leederville - Perth

The 322 sq/m size of the inner city block created additional design challenges for the professional design team.

By utilising the strengths of steel combined with cleverly designed internal spaces, high ceilings and extensive use of glass the design intent was achieved.  The house has a very open and light contemporary feel utilising the solar passive design principles of the northern aspect minimising heating and cooling costs.

The overall feel of the house, both inside and out, is one of being larger than it is due to clever thoughtful design.  Spaces are as large as possible with few visual interruptions enabling vision to continue from inside extending to the outside. This helps elongate views further enhancing the feeling of space.
