The Village at Wellard - Subdivision

Whilst working with Epcad Consultants, Peter was an integral part of the professional design team for the Wellard sub-division.
Maintaining as much of the beauty and experience of the pristine natural environment was a major factor in the linear design of the public open space. A watercourse meanders through the natural vegetation alongside the path which was mapped on site to minimise disturbance to the natural environment. The streetscapes are designed around maintaining significant trees and clusters of natural vegetation, with all professional teams involved working with the land, not against. The general feel as you drive or walk around is one of a natural, calm, leafy experience.
The end result has seen The Village at Wellard development being awarded with numerous awards, one being the HIA Greensmart Development of the year 2006.
